Not just another beautiful couple... Kim & Erik are soo happy and soo in love! I had such a wonderful time taking their engagement portraits. The day could not have been lovelier, the laughter could not have been more real...

I can't wait to shoot their wedding in July... hearing a few details got me even more excited!

PUG meeting

Last night was my first take on public speaking since I took that hundred and eighty degree career turn some years ago. When Jules Bianchi sent an email for a last minute studio spotlight for the PUG meeting, I said I'll do it before I even had the chance to think! Well I'm glad I did :)

PUG = Pictage User Group. It is a great place for us to network, share ideas on how to grow our businesses and better our craft. Jay Goldman was there to share very helpful lighting tips. I'll definitely incorporate some of them on my own weddings too.

Una part uno

Una is one of the most adorable little ones ever. She's barely 2 and already oozing with character... Looove these images! I was going through the bunch and just could not wait to post them here. I'll get the rest of my faves up online soon.

Little rockstar

Vegas was a blast! Just got back from our second annual WPPI trip. Mau & I had such so much fun. It was so great to meet and learn from amazing wedding photographers whose work have been an inspiration to my own.

Yesterday could not have been lovelier. It was Perla & Steve's big day! A beautiful union of cultures and we definitely felt lots of love in the air. I was so glad that my really good friend & awesome photographer, Maureen Ford was here from Boston to shoot with me. Just like old times :)

Honey baby

Honey is a total charmer! Her fluffy & honey colored coat, further highlighted by the late afternoon sun . She was definitely working the camera and believe it or not, was pretty amazing at following my directions too - made mommy & daddy so proud! Here are a few favorites...

Perla & Steve sitting by a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G... They met eight years ago at this very spot in Long Beach, and when we talked engagement portraits, there was no question this was the place to be. Such a beautiful & cool couple, we went all over and had so much fun!

Their wedding is less than a month away, can't wait!!!

Sundance at Park City

DESTINATION: PARK CITY, UTAH

I was in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival and it was absolutely amazing! This quaint town is not only home to the festival but has lots to offer... vast ski slopes, snowmobile trails, tubing, sleigh rides, and many more, it's a winter wonderland. The beauty was unending and the crisp mountain air, priceless. It was a birthplace of fresh ideas and new inspirations - got me all geared up for a great 2007!
