Guess whose photo is on the cover of Ceremony magazine's April issue?! If it's not mine then it's a sad story & won't be blogging about it. But it is so YAY! It's always a joy to see your own work in print & even greater joy to see it make cover. Great resources inside this magazine & over 20 editorial spreads of my work inside. I get so much joy photographing the little ones. Before a shoot, I plan a hundred things in my head, but when I get there something better almost always comes along! SO real, SO uniquely them.

Kelly has the most infectious smile – and her hubby Robert was responsible for all the best ones we captured! I had the best time working with these guys! They are expecting their firstborn very, very soon. Can't wait to photograph the little fella!

Mommy & me

I didn’t expect to be photographing expecting moms... When one of my wedding clients contacted me for maternity portraits, I had no idea what an amazing time I’d have shooting it. There's so much beauty to document: the curves, the joy, the anticipation ...then comes the newborn. It only gets better! I get to watch the little ones grow. Ah, the beauty of life! (Only downside is you start to feel old when you see how fast they grow!)

Deck the walls...

I love taking pictures, I love looking at pictures that I take (at least someone does), I love looking at pictures other photographers take... With this whole digital revolution though, more often than not, personal stuff we shoot get trapped in this so called hard drive for no one to see & appreciate - not even me!

Photography has turned my world around & made me see everything in a fresh perspective. I think to be able to share this is one of the best things about it - so why shouldn't we?! I see beauty in the simplest, most random things. I LOVE details! Whether shooting a job or a personal project, I always pay attention to the littlest of things...
