Flowers do brighten up one's day... My already cheerful Monday got even better when I received this gorgeous arrangement from Eddie & Marco of Tic Tock Couture Florals. Thanks guys! Looove it!
My images are gracing the fashion pages of Ceremony magazine Orange County. Part of the fun of being a photographer is getting to play: picking locations & models, designing lighting, styling shots, and being difficult about the amount foam on your cappuccino (just wanted to say that last one, i pick up my own coffee! :D)
Doing this project was a blast! I shot half the images in film using my favorite format - Mamiya RZ67 and the rest with my good ol' Canon 5D. I was very happy to achieve the mood & style I was going for.
2009 is off to a wonderful start... I'm very excited to get two of my weddings featured in Ceremony magazine! Natalie & John's romantic, very Californian wedding...
and Hazele & Kyle's ultra hip, urban celebration... Congratulations to my couples & the awesome vendors I worked with on these wedddings!
Born to be photographed, this little cutie made my day. Her eyes were glued to my lens and her expressions got my face glued to the back of the camera.
Love photographing little ones at this age! They give you the most adorable smiles... oh & super fun to dress 'em up too...
Matthew & Emily, 2 year old twins. Interesting how one of them is a wee bit serious and the other one is mr. smiles-all-the-way. Together, they are as cute as can be. I made these two break the rules (safe & supervised!) - climbing on tables, rocks & trees... It was a fun day at the park and we all went home a little muddy :)
After a bit of holiday hiatus, no better way to kick of the year than an awesome event with fellow wedding vendors. I attended the WIPA brunch featuring international event planner extraordinnaire Steve Kemble at Rrivre Works. I always enjoy shooting at Rrivre's "candyshop" (as I call it) so took my camera with me.
Super adorable hubby & wife team, Will & Naomi Henshall of Henshall Photography were there to cover the event. Thanks for my photo below Will! ... and Julie Hill of Elysium Productions did video.
